callforpaper.org is an academic conference aggregation platform that helps researchers discover calls for papers (CFPs) across disciplines. We are integrating IEEE data to help verify the legitimacy of conferences claiming IEEE sponsorship, affiliation, or indexing (e.g., checking whether a conference's proceedings are actually indexed in IEEE Xplore). This supports our trust and verification system, which flags predatory or misrepresented conferences and gives researchers reliable, up-to-date information about IEEE-affiliated and IEEE-indexed events. Data retrieved via the API will be used solely to display accurate conference/publication metadata and indexing status on individual conference listing pages — not resold, redistributed in bulk, or used for any purpose outside improving CFP discovery and trust signals for our users.
